Unpredictable Stress

May 2, 2016 in blog

Unpredictable stress was again in the news  last week, as we read of the demise for the BHS workers.  Learning the company they have worked for, in some cases many years, is coming to an abrupt or unpredictable end.  Even if one tries to stay positive, for many that would be a challenge.  Before too long one is fighting the impact of stress and therein lies the challenge.  The symptoms are often not noticed as being stress  Symptoms may  be a lack of concentration or mood changes.  Other symptoms include sleeplessness, over eating or drinking more.  Before too long one thing leads to another. The thoughts of an unpredictable future start to play over in the mind.  The anticipation of what might happen is a trigger, leading to deeper anxiety.  Anxiety leads to panic then depression, then more anxiety, more panic, more depression.  It is not difficult for the symptoms of stress and anxiety to take over.  Just to get out of bed in the morning becomes a problem.

Life is always going to throw challenges at us.  We may unpredictably find ourselves in stressful situations such as the BHS workers.  What is important is we are aware of stress symptoms.  Whether from stress or anxiety we take positive action before the hold becomes so great our life goes out of control.  When out of control one thing leads to another and before we know it we may well make irrational decisions that can have long and lasting consequences.

Releasing from unpredictable Stress

Instead of holding the symptoms of stress and anxiety in the body we can take up any number of activities that encourage positive thinking and mindfulness.  But instant release is not always possible.  The Total Release Experience allows our bodies to naturally let go of the symptoms rapidly bringing about a positive release making any challenge easier to deal with.

Mental Health Problems – One Solution?

February 19, 2016 in blog

The  BBC this week has covered many reports on the biggest concern the UK has alongside whether to stay in the European Union – Mental Health.  Adults, children, teenagers, any age or gender – no discrepancy.  1 in 4 people will experience mental health issues in the next year according to WHO.   There are many underlying reasons from day to day stresses to deep and complex traumas.

Why is the problem of helping individuals suffering anxiety, depression, IBS and many other symptoms proving so hard to solve?  Could be something to do with the fact that despite all the different treatments and therapies available, the one that really helps has yet to be applied.

Every time we are in fight/flight the body contracts, muscles flinch and that included the psoas muscle.  That little known hidden treasure that is a storehouse of blocked emotions and feelings of all life’s experiences.  Like a memory book of our life story and all stored as blocked energy.  Did you know we can get rid of that energy and feel a whole lot better with very little effort?

The Total Release Experience teaches you how to activate your tremor mechanism and release the blocked energy that is causing many of your health problems.  Just like animals – we can survive the worst things in life by letting go through a simple practice that is incredibly powerful.  It is cheap, it is natural, no talking and no drug taking.  Visit WWW.TREUK.com  and find out how you can save yourself or a loved one from further mental and physical decline.

“Good Bye My Lover, Goodbye my Friend“

August 18, 2015 in blog

Such moving words by James Blunt that capture feelings after a break up of a relationship.    When so emotionally attached to somebody, it is hard to let go.   This was shared with me by  a close friend.

The words of the song “Did I disappoint you?  Should I be feeling guilty? Or let the Judges frown?”  may play through their mind.   Doubt and loss of self -esteem can be painful and it takes time to recover and some never do.   ‘I can’t sleep or thinks straight’, my friend shared.  ‘I have tried talking to my mum which changes none of the dreadful feelings I have inside and I am drinking way too much but I realise I am just bottling up and supressing my negative feelings.

Listening to her reminded me of my own past heartbreaks.  So one heartache after another we collect more and more pain over time, preventing us being ourselves as we carry the negative emotions into the next relationship.

Our body remembers the pain, stress and anxiety we hold.  Add that to all the other setbacks and traumas that life can throw at us and we start to notice our body’s reaction as it kicks back.  No wonder my friend is feeling so low.  Lack of sleep, feeling helpless, drinking too much as well as symptoms of IBS and emotional all the time, her body was holding blocked energy.

After explaining what was happening to my friend I taught her to activate her body’s natural ability to release this blocked energy and hence release the symptoms of her stress.

Just as she did we can bounce back from a heartache and let go of bad experiences not just in love relationships but any traumatic event.   Releasing negative energy will make you feel more attractive, loving and happier so that your future or current partner can experience you for who you really are without the baggage of the past.

TREUK™ teaches many like my friend the Total Release Experience process so it becomes a lifelong practice.  They are then able to manage their own healing from disappointment; frustration and pain moving onto become a greater lover, friend and partner in their relationships.

The Impact of Trauma

April 28, 2015 in blog

I’m sure many of you have heard about the earthquake that has just happened in Nepal. I am shocked and saddened to see what has happened as the death toll rises in the thousands and nearly eight million people have been affected,

When a tragedy like this happens, the effects go far beyond just physical damage. As the people wait for aid and workers start to clear up the rubble, those in Nepal and also around the world watching are without doubt suffering from the after effects.  It is absolutely normal to feel shock, anger and grief when your house and your livelihood have been ripped apart or you have lost loved ones. It’s also very human to feel those feelings as you watch the disaster on the news – I know that I have felt fear, shock and sadness as I watched the stress and anxiety of others in reports on TV.

If you check in to see how you feel when you hear of such things or see them on media reports, it’s not uncommon to start to feel stress and tension in your body. You may find yourself short of breath, easily irritated and anxious. You can start to worry about those close to you, what would happen if a disaster like that happened in the UK and how you would cope.

This is also known as “Secondary Traumatic Stress” which can happen when an individual hears about the first hand trauma experiences of another.  Its symptoms mimic those of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). People may find themselves re-experiencing personal trauma or notice an increase in arousal and avoidance reactions related to the indirect trauma exposure.

Using TRE in these experiences can be incredibly useful to release the tension and help bring equilibrium to the body and mind. I work with people in emergency services and have seen incredible results using the very simple technique.

Natures Way – What’s to lose?

November 28, 2014 in blog

How sad today’s headlines are telling us that with no beds to treat mental health patients there are more deaths through suicide.  When I see people for my work they are often at the edge as they have tried everything they can and nothing has helped.  Then they discover that they have the ability to heal by trusting their body’s own innate process.

You see we have evolved from animals and animals know how to survive when they have been in situations of stress,  overwhelm or danger.  They tremor and so before their body takes on the trauma they release from the shock.  We however have socialised ourselves to a point where tremoring or shaking is not a cool thing to do in an overwhelming or traumatic experience.  So what happens is we take all that stress into our body and over years in many cases that held tension has made the body ill.  Mind and body are connected, when the emotional brain starts to run our life so we are completely out of balance and little rational thinking  is going on.

When clients have learned to allow their body to tremor in a safe and natural way the body starts to heal, then life starts to be worth living again.  Dr Berceli discovered the technique and put us back in touch with what we are meant to do.  Seek it out for yourself or your loved ones.  Life is too precious and if nothing else has worked whats to lose?

For Children With Depression – There is Another Way.

September 9, 2014 in blog

At last it is being recognised – children who suffer from bullying, physically, mentally or emotionally unless supported and helped will carry it through to adulthood.  They hold it as the body has a memory and unless that hurt is released then it will continue to eat away causing symptoms of stress, anxiety leading to  depression and illness.

Sibling bullying is where it can start. Then there are the victims of school bullying and we have seen more than enough evidence in our press about cyber bullying . Children whilst very resilient take on more than their share in many cases. There are undoubtedly more victims than those  available to help them. Which is why as adults they are haunted and their body pays the price.
The cost to the country and the long term healing process is prohibitive. The costs will continue to rise as recognition now has to be given to treating patients with mental illness in the same way as physical illness.

Want something that can help and bring about a quicker and more positive result to help in relieving those symptoms?  Take a look at what nature gave us. We have evolved from animals but have lost our animal instinct. How do animals survive when they feel threatened? They tremor and shake. We too were given the tools to help ourselves survive life’s torments however through socialisation we have lost the ability. At last we can now re-learn what nature gave us.

TRE UK teaches how to get that Total Release Experience by invoking neurogenic tremors that bring about moving the organism into a place of better health. No talking, no physical contact and it is safe. Perfect for children and teenagers. As 15 year old Sophie said after her first session ‘physically I can run faster, mentally I don’t insult myself. My reflux problems and inability to speak in a small group have lifted.’ After her second session she said ‘I have done many things I didn’t think I could ever do – for instance I went to sleepovers for the first time since my stomach illness. I have come out to my friends about my sexuality’. Sophie is now enjoying her life instead of coping with anxiety. Mat shared ‘ … I feel totally different and I’m a lot better than I used to be with stress, anxiety and general negativity. I haven’t freaked out about anything in ages and it’s the best feeling in the world to be able to just get on with my life and not have to deal with all the things I’ve suffered with for a long, long time’. Both these teenagers have turned their lives around because of their Total Release Experience. Let’s help more do the same so they don’t grow up living most of their life in a state of anxiety and depression.
